I'm wondering on the pdf it says for size on the first page- "Small (fits a dog" and that's it- so I'm assuming Mia is small. I couldn't find the Moda Dea washable wool so I found a similar weight blend that should get me the 12 stitches across I need. Just wanted to confirm the guage. For a 4-inch square is it 12 stitches across by 28 rows ? (or 14 rows) ?

Thanks in advance!
CarolAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-390036033832531774.post-13713238257193629392011-10-08T15:04:17.808-04:002011-10-08T15:04:17.808-04:00Thank you for this one. Chances are that you will move up to larger size needles. One question...I love your sweater, it is adorable! One question, could you please verify the gauge? Moda Dea is 19 stitches = 4 inches on US 8's. Your pattern instructs a gauge of 6 stitches and 28 rows = 2 inch square on US 6's (and therefore 12 stitches = 4 inch square on US 6's. Is this correct?
It is absolutely possible that I am ignoring the obvious so please feel free to point that out!

Thanks,
JenniferAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-390036033832531774.post-65173683682008792842010-01-30T11:14:50.773-05:002010-01-30T11:14:50.773-05:00Thanks for this, I am a man who knits and this is ...Thanks for this, I am a man who knits and this is just what I was looking for, for a friends bichon X Keep up the good work!Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13555451336323024525noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-390036033832531774.post-34254199928612580012010-01-10T12:26:09.466-05:002010-01-10T12:26:09.466-05:00Georgia, You can look at my step by step tutorial...Georgia, You can look at my step by step tutorial for the leg openings for another sweater for help. I wonder if you have a way of getting sweaters off more easily. I have to get my dog to stand up right and pull like taking of a childs sweater.
I tend to make her sweaters or coats that have an opening at the side to take them of because of this.
jillAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-390036033832531774.post-63729922107670489142009-01-05T14:46:00.000-05:002009-01-05T14:46:00.000-05:00I just started knitting again (it was one of my Ne...I just started knitting again (it was one of my New Years resolutions) and my daughter told me this morning that she wanted me to try making a sweater for her Chihuahua....thanks SO much for sharing this!Maureenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13716619994168402985noreply@blogger.com
