Peach Preserves


Happy Weekend! This last weekend I spent the afternoon finally making some peach jam that has been on my list of things to-do. I had the peaches ripening on our counter for a couple days and finally got them canned! Apparently I didn't cook them long enough because it is a soft set jam - but personally I like it better that way. I gifted a jar to my parents and grandparents. Hopefully they are enjoying the fresh preserves as much as I am on my morning bagel. Next on my list of canning is to can as many jars of fresh salsa as I can! Now I just have to wait for the tomatoes in my back yard to get ripe...
