I posted before that I made a pair of "Harris Tweed Socks" (available for free download), the first adult sized socks that I've knitted in years. Well, since I had a little bit of the skein of sock yarn left over that I decided to knit up a pair of pint sized socks... itsy bitsy baby socks. I casted on 32 stitches and followed the pattern changing the heel flap, instep, and toe box to match a little baby sock I had on hand for size reference. They turned out really cute! Since socks have such a basic overall pattern to them I figured it would be easy to wing a smaller size. Sure enough, it was! So feel inspired and next time try your favorite sock pattern... in a really small size!
